Equine Connection is a program that supports leadership skills, confidence, a sense of presence, setting boundaries, and finding your way of communicating effectively. EC utilizes highly educated horses who understand the work and are able to provide support and introspection to participants. Our horses have been trained to communicate via body language, specific physical cues, and the tone of emotions/energy. All of these factors set them apart and create a structure for the participants to learn. The horses become a vessel to the emotional state of the participant working directly with them. This allows a very clear visual understanding of the way one’s tension, body language, and sense of boundaries affect their ability to clearly communicate. Confidence cannot be faked, a human cannot overpower a horse, and a participant cannot achieve the work with poorly established boundaries or lack of follow-through.
